COVID-19 Guidance November 2020

Due to the Government’s announcement today, we are having to make some short term changes to our service to make sure we help the people who need us the most as quickly as possible by diverting our resources accordingly.
  •  We are still accepting police referrals and referrals from other organisations.
  •  We are prioritising Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders as these are an important safety feature for our clients. We ask that if you are seeking one of these orders, you give us as much information as possible, to give your case the best chance of success. Please note there is a waiting time, which factors in a small team drafting these, and courts which are presently backlogged. Cases are prioritised based on a harm matrix, with those at the most risk being assisted first.
  •  We will not be taking on new divorce clients for the time being. This does not affect current clients.
  •  We will not be taking on new Child Arrangements Order clients for the time being, unless there is a safeguarding risk to the child which is so severe as to constitute an emergency, or recognised by the Local Authority; Social Services, Front Door For Families, or the child’s school. This does not affect current Child Arrangement clients.
We are still contactable via email for any queries. We recommend contacting us via email rather than telephone to get a quicker response.
